Summary

  • You have 14 days to cancel any online order for any reason.
  • Items must be returned within 14 days of cancellation, in the same condition as received.
  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of us receiving the return.
  • If an item is faulty or not as described, we cover all return postage costs.
  • For change-of-mind returns, return postage is at your expense.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Returns Policy applies to all purchases made directly through the GotGotNeedCollectibles website. It does not apply to purchases made through third-party platforms such as eBay or Etsy — those purchases are governed by the respective platform's buyer protection policies, which may offer additional rights.

We are a UK-based business and all transactions are subject to the laws of England and Wales.

2. Your right to cancel — Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

As a consumer purchasing goods online, you have a statutory right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This right applies regardless of whether the goods are faulty.

Cancellation window14 days from the day after you receive your order.

Return postage costAt your expense for change-of-mind cancellations. We cover return postage if the item is faulty or not as described.

We will refund the full purchase price including the original standard delivery charge. We are not required to refund enhanced delivery charges beyond the cost of standard delivery.

3. Condition of returned items

To receive a full refund, returned items must be:

  • In the same condition as when you received them — unused, unaltered, and undamaged.
  • Returned with all original packaging, certificates of authenticity, grading cases, and any accessories that were included.
  • Securely packaged to prevent damage in transit. We recommend tracked and insured postage — we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged on return.

If an item is returned in a condition worse than received — for example, a damaged grading case or missing COA — we reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction from the refund.

4. Graded cards and authenticated memorabilia

We deal in graded cards (PSA, BGS, CGC, and other services) and authenticated signed memorabilia. Please note:

  • Graded cards must be returned in their original grading case, undamaged and uncracked.
  • Signed memorabilia must be returned with all certificates of authenticity and documentation. Items without original authentication cannot be refunded at full value.
  • Minor natural wear consistent with a stated condition grade is not grounds for a change-of-mind return, though your rights for items not matching their description under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain fully intact.

5. Faulty or not as described — Consumer Rights Act 2015

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your item fails these standards:

Within 30 daysYou are entitled to a full refund.
30 days to 6 monthsYou are entitled to a repair or replacement. If neither is possible, a full or partial refund.
6 months to 6 yearsYou may still be entitled to a repair, replacement, or partial refund, though you may need to demonstrate the fault existed at purchase.

In all cases where an item is faulty or not as described, we will cover the full return postage cost. Contact us at info@gotgotneedcollectibles.co.uk with your order number, a description, and photographs where relevant.

6. Items not eligible for return

The following are excluded from change-of-mind returns under Regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:

  • Sealed products (e.g. sealed trading card packs or boxes) that have been opened after delivery.
  • Custom or personalised items made or altered to your specification.
